Russian Artist Creates Magical Dragons Out Of Felt

I am always amazed by the artistry, skills, and talent that people possess. The stuff that some people can create with their own two hands is simply fascinating. These felt dragons are no exception. Alena Bobrova, a Russian artist from St. Petersburg has shared her unbelievable felt creations all over social media and we believe they should be shared some more. These little pieces of art are truly remarkable.

Alena mentions on her Etsy page, "When I take a wool in my hands I can't predict what creature I get as a result. They are all individual and have their own character. And they exactly know what form they wish to be born."

I often wonder where artists find inspiration for their creation.

Alena says that her inspiration comes from wild nature — "Even a small red berry can become a motive for a new toy."

This talented artist loves to work with felted wool, natural gems and seashells.

Her dragons are truly magnificent.

Alena can only make 1-2 small dragons a week because the felting takes a lot of time.

The adorable dragons are sold faster than she can make them.

The colors and intricate designs on these dragons are true works of art making them a popular item in her Etsy store.

Alena even names all of her tiny works of art.
