This Awesome Video Shows What It's Like To Be Rescued From Snow By A Dog

Just when you think dogs can't get any more wonderful or magical, the internet finds a new way to show you that they're even better than you thought. I mean, let's face it, the internet is for arguments and dog videos, and I think we can all agree that the dog videos are much more satisfying than the arguments.

Usually those videos are just cute, but sometimes they get a bit more serious. This one, however, involves a dog with a serious job, doing it in the most adorable way.

Mountain rescue dogs sure seem like angels, and although they sure have that temperament, they aren't born with the skills to save.

It takes years of training to get these special girls and boys ready to patrol the hilltops for people in need. That makes for some interesting situations for the trainers as they try to re-create real-world rescue conditions.

As part of one dog's training, one of the trainers at Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England buried himself in snow, but took a camera with him to show what the rescue looked like.

We have that trainer to thank for what turned out to be an awesome, adorable video of a rescue dog in training passing her test with flying colors.

It didn't take long for the snoot to find the right spot and poke through the surface.

Clearly that's a well-trained sniffer. And is that not the best sight to see when you're buried in snow?

After a few seconds of determined digging, the rescuer in question is able to shove her whole body into the cavity.

In the cold, tight confines, she's all fired up to get the human to safety, like a furry rocket of mercy.

The star of that video is a three-year-old border collie named Flo.

On their website, Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England describe her as "an extremely intelligent, confident young dog with remarkable work ethic and drive."

Flow was, understandably, an absolute hit on Twitter.

"I love this. I love it. 'DON'T U WORRY HOOMANS CUZ I IS HERE TO RESCUE U!' We don't deserve dogs," wrote @theonerandi in reaction.

"Saved or arrived at Heaven's Door?" wrote @K9Falo. "Hard to tell the difference when a pupper is there to greet you."

Needless to say, the video of the "rescue" went viral.

It has received more than 20,000 retweets and 90,000 likes so far, and with good reason.

You can check out the full video of Flo's training mission below!

And, it's a stirring reminder that these rescue dogs that save lives are trained by volunteers and not government funded.

It's just good people, and good dogs, doing good work together.

How amazing is that?
