Jason Priestley Spoke Out About Death Of Close Friend Luke Perry: I Am ‘In So Much Pain’

Since the untimely death of 52 year old actor Luke Perry this past Monday, friends, family and fans of the actor have been grieving the loss of their friend.

Among those remembering Perry is long time friend and former co-star Jason Priestley.

Priestly and Perry met while filming "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 1990, and would remain close friends until Perry's death.

Jason waited a few days before speaking publicly about the loss of his friend.

"It’s taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this... My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared."

He continued, "Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon... and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today."

Friends and fans began an outpouring of support for the heartbroken actor.

The next day, Priestly took to his Instagram again to thank everyone for their words of support.
