'Frozen 2' Cast Wants Boys To Walk Away From Film Knowing 'It’s Okay' To Have Emotions

Frozen 2, which will definitely, take over the nation, is not just a film for women.

In fact, Frozen 2 is a film that is being made with a very specific message in mind for men of all ages!

This is why I love Disney.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel recently sat down with SiriusXM to talk about the film.

They talked about the female empowerment that the movie gives to people, but they also talked about what they hope men will get out of it.

Menzel, who plays Elsa, had this to say about the film's message:

Disney

“We talked so much about it being this female empowerment film but were really proud of how Kristoph [Jonathan Groff] is portrayed and the kind of role model that he’s become. He’s this more emotional, expressive man.”

Bell, who plays Anna, hopped on that, by adding:

“In his song, which you just don’t see very often, he’s got all these huge emotions and I feel like, as far as a representation for young boys to go like, ‘Yeah, you have all these huge emotions and it’s okay to have them.’”

Honestly, that's such an important message for young boys.

Or even older boys who have trouble displaying their emotions!
