Naturally, fans have questions.

Back in September, Aaron was interviewed on "The Doctors," where he disclosed some harrowing details about his physical and mental health.

“The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety; I’m manic depressive,” he said.

“I’m prescribed Xanax, Seroquel, Gabapentin, hydroxyzine, trazodone, omeprazole.”

He also opened up to the hosts for the first time publicly about his struggles with addiction.

“It’s something that I’ve kept secret from the whole world until now,” he said.

He added that he has been taking fish oil supplements “to repair the serotonin receptors in my brain.”

He further explained that his late sister, Leslie, who died of an overdose in 2012, is who initially introduced him to huffing.

“Started when I was about 16,” he said. “Didn’t really touch it until I was about 23, right after I did Dancing with the Stars. And I started going to Staples and Office Depot, and different places, buying it with cash so it wouldn’t be reported on receipts or anything like that, so no one could trace me."

“I was huffing because I was really [expletive] stupid and sad but this is really no excuse,” he said. “I was huffing because I’m a drug addict.”

“That’s my truth".

Since then, some major Carter family drama has hit the fan.

In late September, Nick Carter made a statement on Twitter, announcing that he and their sister, Angel, had filed a restraining order against Aaron.

"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today," the statement reads.

"In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child..."

"We were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family."

"We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else."

The official court document outlines that Aaron had "exhibited increasingly unstable behaviors" and "recently admitted to having schizophrenia with multiple other mental disorders."

Angel claimed that Aaron said he "thinks about killing babies and has thought about killing [Nick's] wife, Lauren."

"I am afraid he will listen to the voices in his head and cause harm to my family," Nick added.

Aaron quickly denied the allegations, and took the opportunity to accuse his late sister of raping him as a child.

"I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family," he tweeted.

"My sister raped me from the age of 10 to 13 years old when she wasn't on her medications," he added. "And my brother abused me my whole life."

Since things popped off for the Carter family in September, they've seemingly kept a much lower profile.

Presumably, they're dealing with things internally.

Until yesterday morning, when Aaron's mother, Jane Carter, took to his Instagram to share a photo of him lying in a hospital bed.

The photo was simply captioned: "Mommas gonna take care of you."

Fans have been flooding the post with comments, asking what happened and sending their well-wishes.

It was later revealed the singer was hospitalized for exhaustion.

After only being hospitalized for a few hours, Aaron was back in control of his Twitter account where he clarified a few things.

He addressed the drama with friend and former Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino, who he filmed Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition with.

"I'm keeping my cool. I have some serious personal issues and we were never friends in the first place."

"Don't even try it HOMEGIRL. I ain't the one," he wrote in response to Alexis saying she was mad at Aaron for not returning her calls.

Another "Marriage Boot Camp" co-star to speak out was Corey Feldman.

He was offering support to Aaron.

On Saturday, Aaron tweeted that he needed to spend time healing himself and his mother.

Aaron said he was hopeful his family could settle their issues in person without cameras or lawyers involved.

We're wishing them all the best.
