Robert Downey Jr. Coming Back As Iron Man For Disney+ Series

Robert Downey Jr. has played one of the most iconic characters in one of the most iconic franchises in the history of cinema: Tony Stark/Iron Man.

For 10 years he wore the helmet and flew in the suit, and we thought he was done.

But apparently, we were wrong.

Okay, so you might be confused right now, and we don't blame you.

After all, Tony Stark definitely died in Avengers: Endgame.

And no, no one is turning back time or reviving him with magic. But he is coming back, and hopefully with a bang.

Unless you live under a rock, you know that the Disney+ streaming service has tons of Marvel content.

And thankfully, the streaming service is also coming out with original content.

One of the series is called What If? which is based off a classic comic book series of the same name.

The 'What If?' series will have each episode imagining a different scenario.

For example: what if Captain America had never been Steve Rogers? What if it was Peggy Carter instead?

And now, it's confirmed that Iron Man will be getting his own episode!

To make matters even better: Robert Downey Jr. will be coming back to Marvel to do the voice acting.

Yes, that's the only downfall: it's an animated show.

Still, we're sure that the show will be brilliant, and we can't wait to see it! It'll be nice seeing Tony Stark with the same attitude he always had, thanks to Downey Jr.
