Woman Spends Decades Growing Out Her Hair To Become A Real-Life Rapunzel

Ever since I can remember I've always wanted long hair. As a child, my mom would always cut it super short to make my hair "stronger". I don't think it worked but now I finally do have long hair.

I find it fascinating that this lady hasn't cut her hair since she was five-years-old and now she looks like a real-life version of Rapunzel.

34-year-old Alena Kravchenko from Odesa, Ukraine has hair many would only dream of.

Her mane actually measures about six feet long and she's even gone viral for her long hair.

People have even dubbed Alena a real-life Rapunzel because her hair is just like the beloved Disney character's hair.

And I can definitely see what they mean. Whoa!

The fact is that Alena has been growing her hair without cutting it since she was five-years-old.

And her mom actually completely encouraged the little girl.

It was Alena's mom who instilled the love for long hair in her daughter which I find so amazing and really sweet.

I can't believe she actually kept this up.

This means Alena hasn't cut her hair in about 30 years.

Her astonishing mane is even longer than her actual 5'6 frame but she's not planning on cutting it.

Alena can't even entertain the thought of cutting her long hair or changing the natural golden blond hue of her hair.

I can't say I blame her because it's gorgeous.

Honestly, I have a bit of a love and hate relationship with my own long hair.

I love how it looks but not the time it takes to care for it, so how does Alena do it?

I can't even imagine what it would be like to have hair as long as Alena.

It must take a really long time to wash and brush it.

This doesn't seem to bother Alena one bit though.

She actually really loves her long hair and enjoys taking care of it because it's become a part of her.

Alena actually doesn't use any tools such as blowdryer to dry her hair.

She lets it dry naturally and only uses products that help nourish and enhance her beautiful hair.

I bet that's the real secret of how she managed to grow her hair so long and keep it looking so nice and healthy.

No more styling tools ladies! Hee, hee.

I think there's something to it because ever since I started letting my hair dry naturally it's been a lot stronger and easier to manage.

I gotta keep it up.

Alena's tip for anyone who wants to have beautiful and long hair like hers is to just love it.

That and of course not abusing it with too much heat or harsh products.

OMG, I have to say I don't think I've ever seen hair as long and as gorgeous as this lady's hair.

I'm so impressed with her commitment to her mane.
