A Set Of Cups Turns Into A Whole Galaxy When Clear Liquid Is Poured Inside

No one:

Me: I love to entertain. It's so fun to have people over, enjoy some food and drinks, maybe some games if we get to it. But the one thing I often lack is cool and funky homeware to really amp up the experience.

These sake cups, known as “Chuu COCORO" or “Space Heart," will absolutely wow any guest.

They were created by Japanese artist Hiromi Sato and are expertly crafted to resemble something of a galaxy.

When a clear liquid is poured in the stainless steel cup, preferably sake, the speckles of gold dust make it look like a tiny galaxy is hidden in your cup.

It's an absolutely stunning experience!

They're just so beautiful it's hard to stop looking!

I wonder how Hiromi even came up with the idea to do this?

Each cup is expertly hand-painted by Hiromi, which I can imagine is no small feat.

The end result is completely worth it, though.

Of course, these cups don't have to just be for sake.

Considering their petite size, they would make for great shot glasses.

If I had one of these cups, I would be doing shots of water all day just to see the effect!

Or maybe I would just leave water in it by my desk as a decoration.

Is that weird?

Unfortunately for us, the $100 glasses are sold out at the moment due to their widespread popularity.

But keep an eye out on Hitomi's shop Sansaku to see when they return!
