Look, these are tough times for our hair. I haven't seen my stylist in over three months and my balayage is disappearing so fast I could cry! And while it's tempting to try to DIY my blonde highlights, I have learned from celebs on social media that doing your own hair often goes wrong.
The latest celeb to prove my thesis is Ellen DeGeneres!
The talkshow host posted a video montage of some of Betty's greatest hits and, honestly, it was so sweet!
Just like a little celebratory haircut.
Just like a LITTLE off the ends.
Just like an inch or two trimmed off, pls.
Ellen told her mom she was "just taking the edges off" while she took a friggin' ELECTRIC RAZOR TO BETTY'S GORGEOUS, WHITE HAIR!
I think Betty realized real quick she was getting a FULL buzzcut from her daughter, lol.

"Believe me, you don't want me using any scissors," Ellen replied.
Now I'm no hairdresser, but I feel like scissors can give a BIT MORE CONTROL, NO?!
UGH BETTY, we have all been there girl!
Who hasn't turned around in their salon chair and been horrified with their haircut at least once in their life?!
It doesn't feel like a great gift to me!

Everyone who has ever had a bad haircut was feeling Betty's pain in this moment. It was PALPABLE.
