Lady Gaga Reveals She's Considering Sobriety: 'I'm Not There Yet'

Sobriety can be a difficult journey to go through, especially when you're a celebrity and you're going through it on a public scale. It takes a lot of bravery for celebrities to come forward with their struggles, especially ones who are notoriously private about their personal lives.

Lady Gaga has revealed that she might soon be starting her own journey in an emotional interview.

Lady Gaga is about to release her album *Chromatica* and has opened up about her process making the album.

While speaking about a track called "911" which Gaga revealed was about an antipsychotic that she currently takes, she added that she has been considering going sober during the process of recording the album.

"I don't take any pain medication, because it's not healthy for me," she revealed.

" But I've flirted with the idea of sobriety. I'm not there yet, but I flirted with it throughout the album," Gaga told Zane Lowe during an interview for Apple Music. "It's something that came up as a result of me trying to work through the pain that I was feeling."

However, Gaga says that part of her healing process for now includes forgiveness for her deciding to drink.

Gaga explained "But part of my healing process was going, 'Well, I can either lash the hell out of myself every day for continuing to drink, or I can just be happy that I'm still alive and keep going,' and feel good enough."

"I am good enough. It's not perfect, but wabi-sabi. I'm perfectly imperfect."

"I think I forgive myself. I forgive myself for all the ways I've punished myself in private," she added, although she also included the fact that she has quit smoking now that the album is finished.

We hope Gaga continues to love and forgive herself in ways that are beneficial to her health!
