Martha Stewart Fires Back At Fan Who Shamed Her For Eating Lobster

Hi. Hello. You know Martha Stewart? The timeless blonde bombshell who has been teaching men and women how to be the masters of entertaining since the '80s?! A woman who has always expressed the importance of a well placed napkin?!

Well, she recently got called out for eating lobster on Instagram, and naturally, she didn't take it very well!

Martha Stewart is *known* for being extra. Guys, she literally wrote the book on being extra, that's why fans love her so much!

Remember her thirst trap selfie that stopped the world briefly this past summer?

Oh, you don't remember? Well, here's a little refresher:

Martha Stewart's thirst trap pool selfie is truly the only thing that motivated me this year!

But did Martha stop there? NO!

Martha has continuously given fans unforgettable moments this year, like that time she drunk-spammed a chicken coop's Instagram account.

To be fair to Ms. Stewart, she was giving the hen house some GOOD ADVICE!

One must make sure to feed and water the chicks daily!

Thank you Martha!

See, what will always surprise me is how people come for Martha for being...well, MARTHA!

So when the 79-year-old shared a picture of her bougie at-home lobster dinner on Instagram, it was a very MARTHA STEWART thing to do!

"Our outdoor dinner in the back driveway. Where all the daily action takes place- dog grooming. Feeding. Soccer practice. Baseball practice. And sometimes messy dinners like lobster [and] corn!!!" Martha captioned the photo series.

"Simple table setting. Tables covered in old fashioned butchers paper. We have a giant roll of it in the basement."

Ugh, such a domestic goddess!

Obviously, the people were LOVING Martha's simple yet aesthetic table setting. "Oh yes. Butcher paper neatly taped on all edges. Upholstered chairs. Cloth napkins. You are really rustic," commented one fan.

"Damn Martha, you know how to enjoy life with friends and family! Cheers!" commented another.

Of course, there's always got to be a Negative Nelly or two on hand, and boy, did they come for Martha!

"Call me a party pooper, but putting a live lobster in a pan of boiling water is disgusting! I can’t stand seeing the poor things with their claws bound stuck in tanks. We humans need to evolve beyond this stuff," commented one critic.

"ppl starving and this [expletive] eating lobster," wrote one particularly harsh critic.

"I’ve always followed you. Loved your show. But do you ever feel this is all a little tone-deaf! There are people lining up for hours for a bag of potatoes!" commented another.

Naturally, Martha was classy and sassy in her clapback to the fan who accused her of being tone deaf, and schooled this troll real quick.

"[T]he lobsters were $4 each from a fisherman who was happy to be getting more than from his regular buyer. We had potatoes from our own garden. And corn from a local farm which we support," Martha explained.

"We feed everyone who works for us. We do not waste. We compost. We work We give generously to many organizations."

She concluded: "We care about the pandemic and observe healthy living and social distancing etc and we wear masks we are good people."

YOU TELL 'EM, MARTHA!
