12 Patio Upgrades The Whole Family Will Enjoy

Diply 7 Jun 2016

Summer is the best season for many reasons, but one of my favorite things about it is being able to hang out with family and friends as we drink delicious beverages and feast on amazing food. In my opinion, there's nothing better than enjoying everything the season has to offer with the people you love in the comfort of your own backyard.

As someone who will be enjoying a yard for the first time since becoming a homeowner back in November, I can tell you first hand that an easy way to enjoy your outdoor space is to fill it with the same personality you use to decorate and furnish the interior spaces. This can be done in a number of ways, including using a unique patio set, colorful, vibrant flowers, bold prints, and so much more!

For a bit of outdoor inspiration that can be used to DIY your very own backyard oasis, check out the list of projects below.

Just because you don't have a fire pit or outdoor fireplace doesn't mean you can't enjoy a warm set of flames in your yard. Simply fill a terracotta pot with fire glass (which can be found at most hardware stores) and place a canister of burning gel in the center to make your very own tabletop fire bowl.
