These 'Pregnant Dad' Photos Popping Up On Instagram Are Peak Dad Joke

Have you ever met a dad who will pass up a golden dad-joke opportunity? I don't think they exist and dads-to-be are no different as these pregnancy photos prove.

Couples are flooding Instagram with these hilarious (and slightly cheesy) "pregnant dad" photos. They'll make you laugh and simultaneously roll your eyes. That's the point.

Check out these funny Instagram photos to see what I mean.

Dads have been getting in on the whole "Instagram-style" pregnancy announcements for awhile now.

Like this dad who decided to pull out the letterboard (very necessary for an Insta post) when he announced the upcoming arrival of his little one.

Basically, dads will jump on any excuse to take a funny baby bump photo.

Like this trick shot. Get it? He's holding up the baby bump. I'm sure his wife loved this.

Of course, there's also the classic beer belly versus baby belly shot.

This one has been floating around for a while now, but it still cracks me up every time. It never gets old.

Now dads are taking these photos one step further with these 'pregnant dad' shots.

It's basically the Instagram post version of a dad joke, so obviously, dads are super into it.

These photos are pretty easy to recreate.

Basically, mom stands behind a wall or tree with her face blocked and belly pointing out. Now that I think about it, this must be an awkward pose for a pregnant woman to hold.

Then dad peeks his head out from behind mom creating the illusion of a pregnant dad.

LOL!

Okay, okay. It's kind of cheesy but that's what makes it great, right? What dad joke isn't cheesy?

People are getting really creative with these photos.

How about this babymoon beach shot? There's nothing better than baby bumps on a beach.

If you don't want your husband to take one of these photos, it's probably best to keep them away from doorframes and trees for the next nine months.

You know as soon as he sees one, he's going to want to take one of these pics.

It does give dads a chance to get in on those maternity shoots, though.

Mom gets to be the focus for nine whole months (as she should be) but all that attention can be exhausting. Let dad have a turn for once.

Well, I don't think this trend is going anywhere anytime soon.

You're bound to see a few of these photos in your Instagram feed if you have friends who are expecting. Don't say I didn't warn you!
