Cold Stone Creamery Is Out To Win Summer With Reese's Ice Cream Cups

Summer is a season of constant internal arguments: Every day, it's a battle between the voices of moderation and of treating yourself.

I mean, you deserve treats, right? And when it's hot out, after a winter of hibernation, ice cream rockets to the top of your treat list. At least, it does mine, and I'm confident I'm far from alone in that.

Ever since Reese's brought chocolate and peanut butter together, there have been few more popular ways to get your sugar fix.

I don't know what sort of sorcery they cooked up for their candy innovation, but it sure worked, and it has paid off for decades. But that doesn't mean that Reese's crack confectioners have stopped innovating.

Now, along with the frosty treat wizardry of Cold Stone Creamery, they're here to win summer with peanut butter-filled ice cream cups.

Okay, I don't really need to hear the details to be sold on these — my beach bod is basically over before it even started. Nevertheless, the deets are downright devilish.

First off, these things look absolutely amazing.

They're candy for the eye, for sure, because they're each handcrafted. Cold Stone starts out with a chocolate cup, then adds layers of peanut butter sauce and chocolate ice cream.

And they're each topped with chocolate fudge ganache, sea salt, and a peanut butter cup.

Just look at those layers! Don't you just want to take a massive bite into that thing?

This is what summer is all about.

Some folks online have suggested ordering them at least a day in advance, depending on the location, to make sure they're ready for you.

But the good news is that it doesn't sound like they're only around for a limited time, so they might be on the menu for good!
