Reality TV Star Beth Chapman Angry At Stepdaughter Snubbing Her On Mother’s Day

When you're a reality TV star, the world has seen you at your best and worst. Privacy is less of a daily ritual and more of a long-lost concept.

With our favorite reality stars, it isn't atypical to see some drama spill off the air and into the world wide web. When the world is watching, it's really watching.

Beth Chapman has been in the media quite a bit as of late.

As the wife of Dog The Bounty Hunter, she plays a starring role on their network show.

However, she's been garnering her own attention in regards to her decision to discontinue chemotherapy treatments.

She is rejecting medical cancer treatments "in favor of faith".

The 51-year-old has stage-4 lung cancer, but has opted to focus on her relationship with God rather than dwelling on the medical aspects of her condition.

“Chemotherapy is not my bag, people,” she said, “Sorry, that’s not for me. So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith. This is my ultimate lesson.”

Chapman appeared in the media again today when she released a scathing statement about her step-daughter.

According to Chapman's tweet, her step-daughter Lyssa Chapman did not call or text her on Mother's Day.

"I’m very disappointed today. knowing that not only did my daughter [Lyssa] not acknowledge me on Mother’s Day."

"Yet she texted some of my friends wishing them a happy Mother's Day."

"She decides to exclude her dad and I from ABBIES graduation On Friday," the tweet read, "I would have moved a mountain to be there."

When one fan replied to her that it's sad when family uses kids to get back at their parents, Beth replied.

She tweeted, "Oh she does that also doesn’t let us see maddy she uses them like pawns I’m just over it I feel bad for grandparents they just wanna love their grand babies and have all the hostage negotiating to get them."

She clapped back when people tried to judge her public behavior.

When one fan asked why Beth was calling Lyssa out publicly, she wrote, "Because she doesn't answer my calls and has us blocked so I'm going to reach my child how I see fit."

"It's the most hurtful act to not acknowledge the woman who gave you life or [the one who] saved it." Beth continued.

"It's a thankless job sometimes and one that requires [patience] and forgiveness," she continued, "[I've] been blessed with my kids and my bonus kids I love them all equally."

This isn't the first time that she's referred to Lyssa as a "bonus kid".

Beth has two children with her husband Dog: daughter Bonnie Chapman and son Garry Chapman. She frequently refers to the children Dog fathered before their marriage as "bonus kids".

Lyssa responded with a tweet of her own, disputing her stepmother's claims.

Lyssa claims she did text her stepmother on Mother's Day and that the other claims Beth made were not true. She backed her tweet up with screenshots of messages.

Here, Lyssa shows an unanswered Mother's Day text allegedly sent to Beth.

Lyssa continued in more tweets, "I have your Mother’s Day txt and other unanswered messages to you. I will tell you what I have told you before."

Lyssa's tweets were not happy.

"That is- life I[sic] short and you should focus on the good things. I’m not going to battle with you ever again. If your intent was to hurt me or Abbie with lies...."

"Don’t worry. You didn’t."

"I am so excited, happy and proud there is nothing you can do to dull my or Abbie’s shine. As we both know you never intended to be home in Hawaii this week and I’m sorry you feel some type of way. You want to talk, you got my number."
