These Extremely Detailed Paper Flowers Look Exactly Like The Real Thing

I love flowers, and I know I'm not the only one out there who does. Not only do they smell great, but there are so many different beautiful varieties to discover, and they freshen up a room so easily.

The one thing that stinks about cut flowers is that they die fairly quickly, but that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. One artist is extending a flower's life by creating incredibly realistic flowers out of paper.

Tiffanie Turner is the artist behind these incredibly intricate paper flowers.

She has really made paper flower making a true art and her work is featured in many galleries across the US.

Her architecture background has given her the tools necessary to understand how things are made and constructed, how each piece is put together in its own puzzle.

She is highly intrigued by the changing nature of flowers, from bloom to decay.

The dynamism of flowers inspired her to explore these changes through paper making, including texture, color, and scale.

Each delicate piece takes about 250-400 hours to complete.

Her aim is to inspire an allegorical dialogue surrounding the changing nature of life, and also offer a sense of hope through her flowers.

She also wrote an entire book dedicated to the craft so others have a chance to try their hand at it.

As someone who loves anything floral and crafting, I may just have to give this project a try!
