Artist Designs Motorcycle Helmets To Look Like Shaved Human Heads

When a new invention or product comes out, one of the first things we tend to wonder is where the creator got their ideas.

Although some have been known to literally dream up their creations, many begin by simply trying to meet a need in their life. Once they realize their inventions work, many then reach the conclusion that other people could find some use for it as well.

Although the results are a little strange, that common tale seems well in keeping with what one Dubai-based artist had in mind for his unique idea.

Jyo John Mulloor said that for all his life, he has been passionate about motorcycles.

Still, many of us can think of at least one thing we don't like about our favorite hobbies and for Mulloor, it's having to wear a motorcycle helmet.

Just because they looked cool to us as kids, that doesn't mean they're actually fun to wear.

After all, we probably felt the same way about medieval suits of armor and it took hours to get someone in and out of those.

Naturally, he wears them anyway because he's even less enthusiastic about severe head trauma.

But he considers them the "most uncomfortable gear you could ever wear" and would vastly prefer wearing a bandanna to a thick, clunky piece of metal.

Of course, he would only actually do that if a bandanna somehow offered the same protection.

But since we have yet to hear about anyone discovering the Mythril Bandanna, that's sadly not an option.

So instead, Mulloor set about creating a helmet that's comfortable enough to not feel like you're wearing one.

This, in turn, gave Mulloor the idea to create a customizable helmet that could be made in the image of the wearer's head.

At first, he just made one of these helmets for himself, but word-of-mouth apparently carried his idea around the world.

Since he developed his models, manufacturers have expressed interest in creating a line of them.

Who knows? Maybe one day you'll have the opportunity to get your own helmet that fits your head in every way possible.
