'Dog The Bounty Hunter's Beth Chapman's Personal Items Stolen In Colorado Break-In

In 2018, Beth learned the cancer had spread and had advanced severely. Beth opted out of chemotherapy treatment in order to be able to film for the family's new show, Dog's Most Wanted.

Dog announced through Twitter that Beth had passed away four days later on June 26th. A funeral was held on July 13th that was open to the public and live-streamed on Facebook.

Dog wants to be able to use this experience to help others who are also grieving. In an interview with E!, he explained how much it meant to him to share his experiences.

"The other day I met [a guy]. He goes, 'Dog, you know I love you. I'm sorry, I lost my wife six months ago.' I hugged him and I felt a connection like, boom, instantly brotherhood."

However, some people have attempted to take advantage of the Chapman family in this tragedy or have overstepped their boundaries.

Bonnie shared a picture from Beth's funeral with the caption, "Please don't ask me for my mother's ashes. Ashes are for family, no one else. No exceptions."

Some people have been spreading rumors that Bonnie Jo is the Chapman's step-daughter. Bonnie Jo claims that this is hurtful to her mostly because she knows her mother wouldn't stand for that kind of information being spread.

The post warns fans about fake accounts pretending to be members of the Chapman family, and reads, "DO NOT respond to ANY request for money. DO NOT send any sort of currency in any shape or form by and through ANY mechanism."

"The media team is overwhelmed with removing fake accounts. I am hearing some people have sent as much as $5,000." Some scam artists have also been creating unofficial merchandise to try to capitalize off the family's tragedy.

Their daughter Bonnie added, "Please tag me in any of these ads and merchandise. We did not authorize any of this, Mom would be pissed."

According to The Blast, thousands of dollars of clothing and merchandise has been lifted from the store.

The Blast's sources state that Beth's personal bounty hunting gear was stolen, as well as priceless family mementos. These items had been arranged in the store to honor Beth.

Fans have expressed a desire to see the items returned as well. One replied to Dog's tweet, saying, "If anyone knows who did this, please encourage them to return Beth's personnel items, even annomously, have a heart, she was a mother, a sister, a wife, please just return them."

Another said, "So sorry Dog that this reprehensible situation occurred. I hope that whoever has done this gets caught and pays the price. You Can Run But You Can’t Hide!"

One Twitter fan said, "Just out of curiosity are you that dense to steal especially from @DogBountyHunter's family? You might as well sleep with both eyes open for the rest of your life now! Hell I'm no bounty hunter but if I was around Colorado you better bet your ass I'd be looking for you too!"
