So, Tom Holland Had To Protect His Dad From Holland’s Fans For The Most Awkward Reason

You've been a busy little mega-media corporation, haven't you?

Between making what professional economists call "all the money in the world" with Avengers: Endgame and Disney+, you have a lot on your plate.

You bring delight to so many people all over the world every day (and I mean so many freaking people).

One person in the former category is Tom Holland, the plucky young British actor who is our newest Spider-Man.

While it's true he may be plucky and young (and, well, British) he's not free of controversy!

There has been one floating around the internet (not counting the one where he spoils every Marvel secret).

Well, it looks like I was wrong in the opening paragraph. Not to say he's ugly or anything, he's just not secretly hot or whatever.

He often does gigs at elementary schools or village pubs, and he recently wrote a book about what it was like being Spider-Man's dad.

It takes a stance that Dominic Holland might be very bitter about his son's recent success as an actor (keep in mind it's probably sarcastic).

Most people were on the "ToM's DaD iS a JeAlOuS WiEnEr" train, but other, more sensible people recognized that this was a joke.
