I'm not really for or against Spam as a product. I guess you can say I'm Spam agnostic.
I have fond memories of my father frying up slices for breakfast, but it rarely ends up in my grocery cart.

Because, you see, Pumpkin Spice Spam is coming this fall.
Please take as much time as you need to process that news.
Back in 2017, the brand posted a mock-up of the packaging as a funny way to comment on how pumpkin spice was taking over everything.
The Daily Meal was given a chance to try it and while they noted that "the combined scent of heavily processed ham and sweet pumpkin spice was a bit off-putting," it actually tasted pretty good.
Which, I'll admit, is an intriguing idea.
The product goes on sale September 23, but only through the company's official online store or through Walmart.com. Which is a shame, but I can see why stores would worry about devoting shelf space to such an oddball idea.
