Billie Lourd Shares Heartwarming Photo Of Son Watching Carrie Fisher In Star Wars

As May the fourth rolls around once again, there's no better time of year to celebrate all things Star Wars.

And for Scream Queens star Billie Lourd, that celebration is a lot more personal and bittersweet, as it means celebrating some of the most iconic work by her late mother, Carrie Fisher.

But this year presents an opportunity for Lourd to introduce Fisher's turn as Princess Leia to a new generation and it seems to be one she jumped at.

This afternoon, Lourd posted an adorable photo of her baby son Kingston he sits in rapt attention for a screening of *Star Wars: A New Hope*.

As People reported, Lourd first introduced Kingston to her fans back in September when she and fiancé Austen Rydell had just welcomed the child into the world.

As for the caption, it seems that Lourd found a way to spell out "May the fourth" using only emojis.

You've also likely noticed that Kingston's hat was made in the style of his grandma's signature double bun hairdo from the original trilogy.

It's a heartwarming touch and it's the latest example of Lourd honoring the achievements of her mom in that way.

After all, have you ever wondered why her character in Scream Queens wore those earmuffs all the time? That's a subtle reference to the same hairdo.

And if that wasn't already wholesome enough, Lourd also decked little Kingston out in an appropriate onesie.

As you can see, that is also emblazoned with the awesome likeness of Princess Leia. This time, it seems she's sticking it to the Empire while surrounded by festive flowers.

I guess you don't need a moon full of Ewoks to make your Star Wars experience cuter.
