Today, We Celebrate Jason Momoa Not Contributing To Toxic Masculinity

In just a few days, Jason Momoa will be 42.

There are so many reasons to celebrate this man. Could be his abs, could be his love of scrunchies, or the way he's an amazing dad to his two kids and step-daughter, Zoë Kravitz.

But most importantly, it's the way he refuses to fall into toxic masculinity, like the Aquaman that he is.

Don't be fooled by the tough guy he plays on-screen; the *Game of Thrones* alum is a total softie.

In 2020, he melted hearts in his interview with InStyle where he talked about being a vulnerable parent.

The actor shares a son, Nakoa-Wolf, and a daughter, Lola, with wife, Lisa Bonet.

The actor who wasn't raised with a dad in his life said, “I didn’t know what it takes to be a dad and I don’t want to just tell my son, ‘Because I said so,’” the actor said.

“I really want to connect, and I want him to be vulnerable and open.”

He's refused toxic masculinity in other ways, too — like the fact that he doesn't shy away from wearing pink suits or tying his hair up with a scrunchie.

He looked hella hot in the velvet pink suit he wore to the 2019 Oscars.

His suit color-coordinated with his wife's pink dress and the scrunchie around his wrist!

We love a man who's comfortable with his sexuality!
