Fans React To First Look At Nicole Kidman As Lucille Ball For New Movie

I'm sure you know by now about all the controversy surrounding Nicole Kidman playing Lucille Ball for an upcoming film.

A lot of people are unhappy with the casting, and unfortunately, even Kidman knows about it.

But now, the first trailer has dropped, and once again, people have a lot to say.

If you were out of the loop, now you know: Nicole Kidman is playing Lucille Ball in an upcoming film.

The movie is going to follow the life of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz as they fall in love, on and off the screen.

The first look at *Being the Ricardos* has dropped, with a trailer that looks like it packs a lot of laughs and love all into one neat package.

It'll be arriving on Amazon Prime Video on December 21st, so I guess make sure you work it into your Christmas plans!

But while some are excited, not everyone is sold on the idea of Nicole Kidman playing Lucille Ball, one of the most famous women in television history.

A lot of people were hoping Debra Messing would play the role instead of Kidman.

Even with the trailer dropping, people were quick to point out how much they wished there would have been an actress change.

But as the saying goes, it is quite literally, too little, too late.

In fact, Debra Messing herself proved just how much she looks like Lucille Ball on Instagram!

Which honestly, it's hard to disagree after looking at this picture.

They are practically siblings! Look at that hair! Those eyes! I see it!

But don't get me wrong, a lot of people were also excited to see Nicole Kidman playing Lucille Ball.

After all, she has some dedicated fans under her belt, considering she's been a successful actress for years and years now.

For every hater, there is someone who is ready to support the film.

To be honest, the cast is strong in terms of their acting abilities, so I personally don't think any of us have to worry so much about it being a good movie.

I will say: we all have our opinions but one thing is definitely for sure, and that is Kidman is a great actress.

So whether you thought she was good for the role or not, one thing is for sure: you know her acting will be fantastic.

That being said, it's time for you to watch the trailer and decide for yourself which side of the line that you stand on.

For or against?

Either way, I'll be watching it. I never judge a movie by its trailer.
