TikTok Christmas Tree Hack Has People Swapping Ornaments For Balloons

Confession time: who already has their Christmas tree up? Not me, ha, ha! Not so fast. I don't usually get to it until at least December. Seriously!

But if you're really eager to get yours ready, listen up. I've got a cool idea for you. I recently stumbled upon it on TikTok, and I'm definitely considering doing it, too. Check it out.

I want to know how do you make your tree look full?

I usually end up putting lots of ornaments on and then filling the gaps with tinsel. But I had no idea there was another way to do this.

This clever lady on TikTok showed everyone what she does instead.

And get this, she actually uses balloons as ornaments. I mean, what? I've never heard of that. What sorcery is this? Ha, ha! I bet you need to see this to believe it.

Okay, check this out.

This process is pretty easy, really. All you need is small balloons in the color that you like. Then you just blow them up halfway, so they're not too big. That should be pretty obvious, hee-hee.

After you've got all of the balloons ready, you just hang them on the tree.

This clever lady uses them instead of tinsel to make the tree look fuller. Oh my goodness. Isn't that pretty genius or what? I really like that idea.

And I'm not the only one.

After Ninoshka posted her video it literally blew up (excuse the pun). People started freaking out and they really wanted to see what her final tree looked like.

So she made a follow-up video to show them and voilĂ ! How pretty is this?

Ninoshka's video quickly became viral.

It has now been viewed over 2-million times. Holy moly! Wow! So many people started praising her idea and vowed to do it, too. I bet all the party places saw a boom in balloon sales, ha, ha!

Some people wondered if any of the balloons popped because they were near the Christmas lights.

But apparently, that hasn't been a problem for Ninoshka. She does recommend placing them away from the lights just in case. Better to be safe than sorry, huh?

Now, this balloon ornament trick may not work for everyone.

People with curious kids or pets need to watch out. If you have a cat with sharp claws, this might not work out that well for you, ha, ha! That's something to keep in mind.

So what do you think of this unusual tree decorating idea?

Would this fly in your house? I like it, especially if you want to change up the look of your tree. You can get different colored balloons than the ornaments you usually use. I have to admit I might do something like this for this year's Christmas tree.
