The 'Home Alone' House Is On Airbnb, Ya Filthy Animals

Christmas is a time to get cozy, get snacking, and get to watching all of your favorite holiday classics! For me, I have to watch "The Holiday", "Love Actually" and "Home Alone" at least 15 times each in the month of December. Of course, I dream about being able to stay at the charming cottage in The Holiday or the McCallister mansion.

Now, my dream could turn into a reality as Airbnb is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime contest!

It was announced earlier this week that fans of the beloved "Home Alone" franchise could win a stay at the real-life McCallister mansion.

That's right — the Winnetka, Illinois house where Kevin McCallister made holiday history will be open to one very lucky group of people for one night, and one night only!

If that wasn't cool enough, guests will be hosted by Kevin's big brother Buzz, AKA "Home Sweet Home Alone" actor Devin Ratra!

The house will come fully loaded with details from the iconic movie which includes actual booby traps, classic '90s junk food, Kevin's plush green robe, and Buzz's pet tarantula.

Honestly, I could do without the tarantula.

Interested guests can request to book the McCallister mansion beginning Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. CT at airbnb.com/homealone.

It seems to be luck of the draw who will decide who gets the illusive stay on Dec. 12.

I wish you all the best of luck, just don't forget your aftershave!
