Cadbury's New 'Unity Bar' Has Four Different Kinds Of Chocolate

Calling all chocoholics! Cadbury has officially released a brand new bar with four (yes, four) different flavors of chocolate in it, and I think it's safe to say this is my favorite thing in the entire world already.

According to Delish, the "Unity Bar" is a brand new candy creation from the chocolate pros that includes eight squares of dark, blended, milk, and white chocolate.

Now you don't have to buy four different candy bars to get four different chocolate flavors.

But, you know, you still could if you really want to. It's your life. Go live it.

These bars are beautiful assembled to create a gradient of chocolate; arguably the best kind there is.

But the best part about this bar is the message behind it.

Oglivy India

Cadbury released the candy in India for the country's Independence Day on August 15 as a way to celebrate diversity. Historically, people in India have been classified by their caste, language, religion and region, making for an unnecessarily divided population of people.

According to Design Taxi, this candy is meant to encourage Indian citizens to celebrate "a rainbow of brown, a giant bouquet of mother tongues, a churring confluence of cultures."

The ad for the new chocolate bar reads, "Sweet things happen, when we unite."

"India is a diverse country, with people of different castes, creeds, languages, regions, religions," Oglivy India, the company behind the candy's ad, wrote on their website. "Everyone lives together, but not always with love."

It continues, "Cadbury Dairy Milk, which is loved by everyone, wanted to send a powerful message of unity."

Unfortunately for us, the candy was exclusively available in India. And I say "was" because it sold out super quick. So I guess we'll just have to stick to buying four different chocolate bars to get that same, delicious variety.
