Kevin Hart was involved in a serious car accident early Sunday morning, leaving him and the driver of the vehicle with major back injuries.

Kevin Hart Reportedly Undergoes Back Surgery After Major Car Accident
Just before 1 AM Sunday, Kevin's 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off Mulholland Highway.
The driver of the vehicle, Jared Black, was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
Reports say that Kevin was able to exit the vehicle,and seek medical attention at his home.

Both Kevin and Jared suffered from "major back injuries", while the third passenger, Rebecca Broxterman, suffered from no major injuries.
TMZ now reports that Kevin has undergone back surgery as a result of his injuries.

"Doctors completed successful back surgery on Kevin Sunday evening," TMZ reports.
Sources say that Kevin is expected to remain in hospital for a couple of days to recover.

TMZ also reports that Jared was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center where he is recovering.
Several celebs have taken to social media to wish Kevin well, including Terry Crews and Bryan Cranston.
