Kevin Hart Sued For $60 Million For Alleged Involvement In Sex Tape Recording

Kevin Hart is not having a good month. Following the news that he was in a devastating car crash that has reportedly left him with serious injuries, he is now facing a lawsuit surrounding the infamous sex tape Hart claims he was extorted with.

In 2017, Hart and Montia Sabbag were recorded having an affair.

Hart claimed that he was extorted by his friend JT Jackson and denied that he had any knowledge that the recording was taking place.

Jackson was eventually charged with two counts of extortion.

Though he denied extorting Hart, Jackson was arrested for alleged efforts to try to get money out of Hart in order to keep the tape under wraps and out of the public eye.

A new lawsuit filed by Sabbag alleges that Hart was aware of the recording.

TMZ has learned that Sabbag has filed a $60 million lawsuit against Hart , saying that he was motivated by the need for publicity for his upcoming comedy tour.

Sabbag alleges that Hart allowed Jackson into his hotel room to set up the cameras that were used to record their encounter.

According to TMZ, Sabbag is "suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy."

Hart's rep had not responded to this situation at time of writing.
