One Episode Of 'Friends' Is Still A Regret For Showrunners

Friends is one of the most iconic shows of all time, and with good reason.

It's hilarious, there's just enough drama, and the characters are downright amazing. You basically want them to be your friends.

*Friends* is still legendary after 25 years.

And it will continue to stand the test of time no matter how many Gen Z's try to take it down.

This is just one show that will never be able to be stopped.

But not every episode was a major hit for the cast and crew.

Each actor has moments where they wish they could have changed something about their character.

Heck, even fans of the show all have that *one* episode that they absolutely can't stand.

For one fan, it was the episode with Emma's male nanny.

And they're not wrong. It was super weird that Ross fired the nanny just because he was uncomfortable with him being a man.

Another fan really didn't like the episode with Russ.

But let's be honest here, David Schwimmer knocked that one out of the park, no matter how weird it was to see.

And I think we can all agree that this was one of the weirdest ones to date.

Can someone explain why the writers thought this was a good idea? It was nothing but creepy.

Anyway, it's clear that fans all have their opinions of what the worst episode was.

For the record, yes. Richard was super annoying getting in the middle of things when Chandler was trying to propose.

But it's not just the fans who have strong opinions. Even the showrunners have one episode they didn't like.

It's the one where Phoebe's sister, Ursula, has a stalker that Phoebe falls for.

Yup, awkward. It's not something that happens every day, that's for sure.

“We did a lot of rewriting on that to make that work," Marta Kauffman explained.

Fun fact: the "stalker" was played by Courteney Cox's now ex-husband, David Arquette.

Kauffman added that he wasn't sure the one with the chickenpox worked either.

He was referring to the episode where Phoebe's boyfriend, played by Charlie Sheen, is back in town and they both wind up with the chickenpox.

Did you like these episodes?

Or were you laughing the entire time? I will not lie: I definitely laughed, because I can never not laugh at this show.
