23 Times LGBT People Hilariously Made A Fool Out Of Straight People

We love a good clapback, especially when it's putting people in their place for being so silly.

And as a member of the LGBT community, I can confirm that we do, in fact, have a Master's Degree in shutting down any form of bigotry that comes our way. And we usually do it while wearing a very cute outfit, sitting on a rainbow throne, and sipping a cup of very hot tea.

Here's proof.

1. We're starting this off by calling it exactly like it is.

When you really think about it, you realize that straight people make a bigger deal out of gender than LGBT people. All this "pink equals feminine" and "blue equals masculine" stuff is just EXHAUSTING.

2. Ahhh, how the roles have reversed for once.

This actually puts into perspective how silly the questions LGBT get from straight people all the time. Like, imagine asking someone what caused them to be straight or why they're always flaunting their straight-ness?

3. Just reading this gave me third-degree burns. I can only imagine being on the receiving end of this clapback.

While it's not very nice to go after someone for a quality they can't change, maybe that was the point? And you know it's an expert clapback when there was no need to mention the grammar mistakes at all.

4. Someone tell her right now before she makes definitive wedding plans with her BFF.

Sometimes you read something and get taken over by an overwhelming need to facepalm and/or bang your head against a wall. This is one of those moments.

5. Say it louder for the people in the back!!!

You know someone's about to go in with an expert clapback when they use fruits and vegetables to make their point. It's like, ouuu, get it.

6. The board can suck it, sorry 'bout it.

"Can't hang this on the balcony in my own home? All good, you can make up random rules, and I'll still figure out ways around them" —This home owner.

7. Ahhh, gay marriage — every bigot's favorite thing to debate.

But then if you decide to be rational and really think it through, you'll realize it's definitely the best thing ever.

8. We love a good protest sign.

Especially if the picture it paints is as fierce as a boy serving it in a flowy wedding dress, strutting down the aisle in six-inch stilettos.

9. Ahhh, this old debate again.

Some people find the most obscure argument and just go with it, so it's always refreshing to see a good comeback to knock some sense into this madness.

10. Honestly, not today, Christopher.

Not today, not tomorrow, not next week... I think you get the point. Hopefully this'll teach him to do something better than tweet this nonsense during his free time.

11. So here's something I've learned recently: Don't mess with George Takei because he's truly not here for it.

And now Benjamin's been made out to be the wrong one, must suck.

12. Exhibit B of George Takei being an expert at making a fool out of a bigoted person.

Just embracing the gayness is truly the best way to shut the bigotry down.

13. Hey, that's some really nice propaganda you've got there. It'd be a shame if somebody...co-opted it.

Listen, I'm all for strong homosocial relationships, but, like...you don't have to stretch too far to get there with these.

14. This whole time, we've been worried about spilling tea, but it turns out that the soup is even hotter.

I realize that this is a troll account, but I've got nothing but love for anyone willing to set up a whole account to clap back at homophobes on Facebook.

15. This is my kind of rebellion.

I mean, it's not like I was going to pass that class anyway. I might as well make a statement on my way out the door.

16. I have no idea what he was feeling while he was signing those papers, but I would have had a hard time not being petty as hell about it.

"Oh, sorry, what's that, Kim? Could you show me again where it is I should sign so that I can have the opportunity to wreck you?"

17. Sometimes, just being yourself in the face of intolerance is all you need to do to win.

I want to say that love wins, and it does, but, like, even just kinda liking someone is fine, too! Everybody just relax!

18. C'mon, buddy, what did you expect what going to happen when you did that?

Reddit | DNicholasG

That's at least a weekend that you've dedicated to banning people now. I hope you enjoy it! Or was that all talk?

19. Sometimes, the best way to make someone look like a fool is to just let them say what they're going to say.

"Relentlessly gay" sounds like a pretty good life goal, TBH.

20. This genius who used physics to prove that being gay and gay marriage are wrong.

I mean, he used physics to prove his point, so like, it must be true.

21. When straight people find out about a gay word so now we, the gays, have the responsibility of saving the world from inevitable doom.

Guys, just because you heard the word "wig" on American Idol doesn't mean you can use it, okay?

22. These two boys who played everyone in the yearbook and made a fool out of everyone in the best way possible.

Plus, they just have the cutest nicknames for each other. Wig!

23. And finishing off strong with the icing on this fabulous cake.

Nothing makes a fool out of a bigot more than throwing in their face the fact that the person they're making fun of is way more successful than they ever will be.
