I have to admit I never really knew what the whole Elf on the Shelf idea was until a few years ago. And since then, I have seen a lot of creative ideas people have come up with to display the little guy around their home.
So I wanted to share with you just a few more I have recently stumbled upon in case you still need to up your game from last year.
I'm not sure if you remember when I wrote about the guy who wanted to keep his elf toasty in the oven? But I think this is a much safer idea here, huh? They all look so snug.
Speaking of getting toasty, here's another take on a similar idea. These two look like they might be kept out of trouble like this for a while. But then again, I'm sure they'll be up to no good soon enough.
It looks to me like even naughty elves like to take a break and have a lazy Sunday. I don't know about you, but a bubble bath sounds like a pretty good idea to me too.
Wow, this elf is really trying to get somewhere in a hurry, eh? Oh man, that's a 5.9 difficulty, at least. He's a better climber than I am. What do you think? Is he going to make it?
Don't let your elf get into your fridge because who knows what kind of damage he will take upon himself to enact in there. In this case, the poor carrot got it, and I feel bad for the little guy here.
Any die-hard fans of Frozen are really going to appreciate this cool idea here, hehe. Leave it to Elsa to put the elf in his place. Am I right? I wonder what he did to get on her bad side.
Oh, wow. This little elf definitely got in trouble with the wrong people here. From the looks of it, they don't mess around but, instead, mean serious business. I don't know how he's going to get out of this one.
Well, this will teach you to never leave your elf unsupervised. See, what he's done here? Now you have to go out and buy a brand new chocolate advent calendar. He better not get into that one.
Here's a word of warning to you, hide all the bottles of alcohol. Otherwise, the naughty elf might get his paws on it, and you won't have much left anymore. I guess this is a sign of more shenanigans to come.
Oh, no, say it isn't so. Did the elf think he was being funny by borrowing your toothbrush to clean his bum, or is he really that mischievous? Well, either way, it's time for a new toothbrush, my friend.

I guess the elf was trying to be helpful here by blowing some balloons. Thing is, he inhaled too much air and got sucked into one of them. So who's going to rescue him now, eh?
This lady's adult son came to visit, and let's just say the elf must've really gotten on his nerves to deserve this. I don't know about you, but I have a funny feeling about this.
If you suddenly find yourself out of toilet paper, here's the culprit you can blame for it, that's for sure. I don't know about you, but this looks like a fun ride down the stairs to me.
Oh my goodness, haha. What the heck is going on here, huh? This elf not only got under the skin of Beetlejuice but Pee-wee too. What are they're going to do with him? I don't want to know.
