What would you do if the actual Captain Marvel dished out your movie-theatre popcorn as you were going to watch "Captain Marvel"?

Fans were elated.

"Funny story I wanted to take my little cousins to see the new #captainmarvel and we ended up seeing #captainmarvel herself @brielarson serving guests at our local #amc and she was kind enough to take time to speak with these young ladies and made this night one they won't forget," wrote Susan Moimenta on Instagram.

No Joke

According to Moimenta on thisisinsider.com:

"It was completely surreal to see her at the concession stand. We weren't expecting it at all. We heard another moviegoer say Brie Larson is here and thought they were joking."

This morning, Larson sent out this inspiring tweet:

“Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It's your place in the world; it's your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live.” #MaeJemison

"What an amazing experience. Even better following #internationalwomensday that these girls get to meet a #realrolemodel and #hero. Needless to say we love #captainmarvel," continued Moimenta.

Moimenta says she and her cousins only saw Larson on the way out of the theatre after watching the movie. Better late than never.

"Thank you so much for coming. You guys are so awesome to come, like, opening weekend," she told the crowd. After flashing the peace sign, Larson left, probably to find some more bad guys to demolish.
