Luke Perry, Dead At 52

"Variety" is reporting that actor Luke Perry has died.

Perry Suffered Stroke Last Week

Perry, one of the stars of TV's "Beverly Hills 90210," and "Riverdale," suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday.

Perry's Rep Released Statement

His representative released a statement:

“[Perry] was surrounded by his children, Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends." “The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”

Perry Hit Hollywood At 16

Variety writes that Perry's career began at 16, when he appeared in the daytime soaps "Loving" and "Another World." But Perry's big break came through when he played Dylan McKay on Fox' "Beverly Hills, 90210."
