Perry was hospitalized last week after suffering a stroke. On Monday, a representative for the actor confirmed that he died as a result of a massive stroke. He was just 52.
“The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”
Perry first became famous for his role on "Beverley Hills, 90210," but more recently was experiencing a resurgence thanks to his part on "Riverdale."
Molly Ringwald has a reoccurring role on "Riverdale" as Mary Andrews.
Mayim Bialik, who most people know from "Blossom," shared her condolences.
Asha Bromfield, who is also on the cast of "Riverdale," was extremely upset to hear the news of Perry's passing.
