How Men And Women See Emotional Cheating Differently

I can tell you right now that I believe any form of cheating is deserving of a right smack upside the head, a slammed door, and a good ol' "Bye, Felicia!" Yes, that means emotional and physical cheating.

However, according to a recent study at the University of Texas, women and men view cheating differently. Meaning one sees one form of cheating worse than the other.

The study asked a question.

54% of men were more upset at the thought of their partners having a physically intimate relationship with another person.

While 65% of women said the emotional cheating was worse.

Well, it's thought to come down to instinct. If a woman cheats physically, a man can't know for sure if they are the father of a pregnancy. So the jealousy is a man's way of responding to that kind of threat.
