Napping Is Awesome — Forget What Anyone Else Says

Diply 19 Jun 2017

One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday is take it easy. I'm talking comfy clothes, tea, books, movies and snacks. You gotta get ready for the week, y'know? And what better way to do that than kicking back and taking it easy.

The only thing that might make it a little better is doing it with a friend who wants to be just as lazy as you are.

I don't know about you, but I would rather nap than sleep in.

Gives me a break from the world for a bit, y'know? I mean, I guess you can't nap at work... at your desk, anyways. A twenty-minute power nap in the break room? Sign me up! You'd do it, too. Don't lie.

The only downside about naps is how amazing they can be.

If you put your head down to nap with no alarm or anything, you're playing a dangerous game. I can't tell you the amount of times I went for a nap and woke up only to find that it's bed time. These are the kinds of naps that leave sheet marks on your face and drool everywhere.

I regret every nap I didn't take as a kid.

I'm also sad that napping for a couple hours in the afternoon isn't an accomplishment anymore, because I would be so successful. Kids don't know how good they have it! I wish I could tell every child I meet that they'll regret not taking naps someday.

So, since I love napping in general, it makes sense that relaxing and going home is the best.

The lack of judgement from other people, the cozy blankets, and probably some terrible TV show playing in the background... that all sounds heavenly to me. What about you? Tag your napping friend in the COMMENTS!
