Fans Defend Chris Hemsworth After Backlash To Maskless Party Photos

I mean, the guy is literally Thor, after all!

On top of his acting chops, Chris also seems like a genuinely funny and friendly guy, so it's hard to imagine anyone having a bone to pick with him! (You know, outside of a jealous costar.)

Yes, even a popular guy like Chris Hemsworth can find himself on the receiving end of callouts and criticism on social media, but luckily, he's got the kind of fans and supporters who'll stick up for him when it's right!

"A little 80s themed party never did any harm! Happy birthday," wrote the Thor star, alongside several photos of himself and other party-goers enjoying the festivities.

However, some fans in the comments began to point out the harm that they felt was being done by the party.

"Where's everybody's masks lmao?" one fan commented, while another wrote, "Umm, you know we're in the middle of a pandemic, right? Nobody's social distancing."

However, many of Chris Hemsworth's fans came to the star's defense in the comments, pointing out a fact that many seemed to be forgetting.

"The amount of people commenting on social distancing ,mask wearing and we are in the middle of a world wide pandemic .... NO we are in Australia," one fan pointed out.

"All these Americans crying in the comments lmao," one fan joked.

While the fans commenting likely only had the best of intentions in pointing out safety regulations from their own countries, it's a good thing that Chris has so many fans willing to defend himself from any accusations of being unsafe!
