Fans Get First Look At Emotional New Season Of 'Virgin River'

Fans of the hit Netflix series Virgin River have been anxiously awaiting any update on the third season. We found out a few weeks ago that the third season of the drama series would be coming to Netflix on July 9th, and now, we finally have a first look and let me tell you, its been worth the wait — which is something I rarely say.

If you don't already know, *Virgin River* follows a nurse practitioner named Melinda as she moves from Los Angeles to a remote Northern California town.

I know it sounds kind of boring but I promise, it's GOOD!

If you don't believe me, try watching the first two seasons in less than a few days.

Now, we're just under a month away from the premiere of the highly anticipated third season!

Considering how fast this horrible year has gone, these next few weeks are sure to just fly by.

Now, fans are getting a first look at the upcoming season.

The first trailer shows Jack after he survives being shot in his own bar.

It's clear fans will see the hunky lead dive deeper into his blossoming romance with Mel this season — THANK GOSH!

"If you're smart, you'll give that lady a ring and get to starting a family," a local townsperson tells Jack. WOAH!

Later, Mel asks Jack: "How would you feel about me having a baby?"

Sadly, the pair don't seem to be on the same page when it comes to starting a family. Jack tells Mel that he "can't be the person that stands in the way of you becoming a mother."

Mel suggests Jack's just "not listening" to what she wants, to which he replies: "I know what you want. I don't know if I can give it to you."

In the next shot, Jack receives advice from Doc Mullins about his relationship with Mel.

"It would be a tragedy for you to go through life alone," Doc tells Jack, "Because of a misguided perception of the woman you love."

I cannot wait to watch this series as soon as it comes out. Watch the full trailer here.
