Kelly Osbourne Slams News Outlet For 'Fat Shaming' Her: 'The Hardest Year Of My Life’

Kelly Osbourne made headlines earlier this year after sharing a series of new Instagram pics to her 2 million followers. While Kelly looked gorgeous, as per usual, many fans thought she looked a little different. Since then, the 37-year-old has kept a low profile on social media.

However, Kelly recently took to social media to share how hard this year has been for her, and how she was fat-shamed by a tabloid.

I can't imagine it would be easy to be celebrity on a good day, let alone when you're going through a difficult time.

Recently, Kelly Osbourne opened up about the difficulties of being in the public eye when she received a scathing email about her alledged weight gain.

In the since-deleted Instagram story, Kelly called out the "National Enquirer" for emailing to ask for a statement after claiming they were planning to run a piece about her putting "on a tremendous amount of weight" lately.

I know, right? I couldn't believe it either!

Kelly captioned the screenshot of the email: "This is what I have to deal with on a daily basis."

She then encouraged fans to email Dan and let him know "what you think about them fat-shaming me."

She added, “This has been the hardest year of my life. I was compliantly and utterly broken."

"I am still putting myself back together again. I am happy. I am healthy and that’s all that should matter.”

I truly cannot imagine receiving this type of hate mail. No matter who you are, this is incredibly unfair and just plain rude!

I think this serves as a great reminder that we all need to be kinder to one another — we really don't know what other people are going through!
