Dog The Bounty Hunter Reportedly Hospitalized After Suffering 'Heart Emergency'

In devastating news for friends, family, and fans of Dog The Bounty Hunter, Duane 'Dog' Chapman was reportedly hospitalized this weekend just months after the death of his wife and the break-in of his store, according to TMZ.

Duane 'Dog' Chapman, is best known as Dog The Bounty Hunter and star of the hit TV series of the same name.

He and his late wife, Beth Chapman starred on the show together which chronicled their experiences as bounty hunters.

Sadly, Beth passed away in June of this year after a battle with stage II throat cancer.

The death of his wife has hit Chapman incredibly hard.

In one interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chapman admitted that he had lost 17 pounds since her passing just two weeks prior, as he hadn't been able to eat.

Shortly after Beth's death, their son, Leland, was also hospitalized for an injury sustained during a bounty hunt.

In more misfortune for the Chapman family, their official merchandise store was also recently broken into and many of Beth's personal items were stolen.

Now, TMZ reports that Chapman suffered a 'heart emergency.'

TMZ's sources report that Chapman was taken to the hospital this weekend "after feeling a pain in his chest," which may have been a heart attack.

TMZ is told that doctors are currently running tests to determine the source of the emergency.

Reportedly, they are also unsure as to whether Chapman will have to undergo corrective surgery for this event.

A rep for Duane took to Twitter to provide an update on his condition, sharing that he is now "resting comfortably."

Well wishes are pouring in from thousands of fans.
